빛과 파도

빛을 본다.

본다는 것은 본질적으로는 빛을 해석하는 과정. 안구에 잡힌 빛은 신호로 변환되어 뇌에서 다시 해석이 된다. 빛을 매개체로 한 세상과의 소통. 빛의 라디오.

사진이란 결국 빛을 담는것임을 인지했을 때, 세상을 이해하는 새로운 방법이라도 찾은 마냥 흥분되었다. 자기장, 중력, 기류 등을 읽을 수 있게 된다면 이런 기분일까.

파도는 곧 파동의 실체화. 빛 또한 파동이자 입자.

끝없는 상호작용 속 서로를 가장 아름답게 비춰줄 수 있는. 실체 따위에 마음쓰지 않지만, 항상 무한의 형태로 존재하는.

파도가 될까. 빛이 될까.

I see light.

To see is to decode light. Light is captured by the eyes, converted into electrochemical signals, then interpreted by the brain. Communication with the world, with light as medium. A radio of light.

Waves manifested in water. Light and the wave-particle duality.

An endless dance of mutual capturing and reflecting. Unconcerned with the essence of things, yet always existing in infinite forms. Accepting all ways of being.

Will I be a wave? Will I be light?
